Main Areas of Responsibility:
Applies the principles of non-profit accounting to record, analyze and report operating and endowment fund activity and all financial accounting activity. Ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, investment account reporting, payroll and associated tax reporting, and ERISA compliance reporting. Responsible for managing cash flows and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Manages and maintains general ledger system, performs monthly allocations, reconciles investment and bank account activity, and prepares reports for the executive, finance and investment committees.
Coordinates the annual operating budget and audit, including preparing worksheets and schedules and providing transaction detail and explanations to support an efficient audit.
