Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Kindle Project seeks a consultant to support our financial health and wellbeing by collaborating with the Executive Director, providing oversight of our current finances and future plans, tracking our donations and pledges, and being the birds-eye view person who has their finger on the pulse of all things financial.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Take a deep dive into our current financial systems and make recommendations for improvements and changes. This initial phase requires reviewing our tracking, financial mechanisms, and reporting systems and suggesting ways to improve our financial systems to meet the scale and demands of the organization.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
5 + years of experience in a senior financial role, ideally in the nonprofit sector and/or philanthropy.
Financial management skills, including budgeting, cash management, accounting, reporting, board communications.
Experience and comfort working remotely and independently.
