Main Areas of Responsibility:
Manage general accounting functions relating to the accounts payable, accounts
receivable and general ledger systems. Develop customer service focused relationships with internal and
external stakeholders. Responsible for oversight and management of council Retail operations. Perform other
duties related to the administrative and financial functions of the Finance and Retail departments.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
*Actively manage retail staff to ensure-day-to-day operations are being executed properly.
*Review and analyze retail sales data and financial performance to identify merchandising opportunities and liabilities.
*Develop and establish an inventory control system.
*Monitor expenses to ensure that the retail operation is within the Council’s approved budget.
*Serve as backup for the Retail Sales Associate as needed.
