Finance Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Rapidly growing, fast paced, entrepreneurial nonprofit that owns, manages, and develops supportive affordable housing seeks experienced finance director to; prepare and manage all agency, program, and proposal budgets; prepare and manage construction, and property management budgets, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all administrative and accounting functions.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The finance director will be part of the visible face of the organization, and expected to represent the organization at neighborhood association meetings, meetings with local, state, and federal agencies,and meetings with contractors, developers, property managers, residents. The finance director will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the organization, and represent the agency when the executive director is abroad.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Ideal candidate will be a creative, problem solver, and independent self starter with proven track record. Knowledge of affordable housing finance and development a plus. Excellent writing, public speaking, computer, and interpersonal skills required. The position presently offers no benefits but flexible hours and opportunity for significant additional developer fee incentive.
