Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Executive Director for the New Mexico Association of Community Partners (NMACP) Board of Directors. The Mission of the NMACP is to improve and grow the strategic and fiscal capacity of member Community Action Agencies to fully engage and fulfill their mission and community objectives. The Executive Director will be required to assist NMACP to work together to further the goals and objectives of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Act and its amendments;

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

To bring about more effective cooperation between NMACP, Commission or Departments of State, Federal, Regional Offices and other public/ private organizations pledged to the alleviation of poverty;
To develop plans and implement programs to further the professional skill through continuing education activities, conferences and workshops; and to provide a forum and recommended solutions to mutual concerns, issues, problems and needs of NMACP entities and their professional service relationships.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree plus four years of management experience in the human service field; or
Eight years of management experience in the human service field
