Executive Director, New Mexico Regional Team

Job Description

Main Areas of Responsibility:

Teach For America's executive directors are part of the senior leadership team at Teach For America and are at the forefront of improving the state of education in this country and impacting the future of thousands of children. Managing a team of across two distinct areas of NM, the ED of New Mexico is charged with building a state-wide movement across multiple groups and constituencies.

Additional Areas of Responsibility:

Shape overall vision for Teach For America in New Mexico
Engage key stakeholders
Build our organizational capacity
Maximize impact of corps members and alumni
Ensure a diverse and sustainable funding base
Grow overall visibility
Ensure long-term sustainability

Other Information/Requirements:

Strong overall leadership
Experience managing complex teams and operations
Exceptional strategic thinking, communications, and relationship-building skills
Goal orientation; Commitment to our mission
Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
A bachelor's degree is required. Min 2 yrs experience if a corps member, min 5 yrs if no corps member experience.
