Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Executive Director ensures that the organization is achieving its mission. Through supporting a capable staff team, cultivating a stable resource base and building strong relationships with allied organizations and leaders, the Director guides the organization on a path of increasing impact and effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a high-performing strategist, is detail-oriented yet has an eye on the whole, excels in leading teams, and is a skilled and passionate communicator.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
-Cultivating and managing a high performing staff team that carries out the work of the organization with energy, creativity and passion
-Develops and manages annual budget based on both organizational priorities and fundraising opportunities
-Develop a robust and diverse resource base including foundations, major donors, and grassroots donors
-Provide the Board with clear information so they may provide strategic direction for the organization
