Main Areas of Responsibility: 

FOG Executive Director is responsible for administrative, fundraising, community outreach, advocacy, communication, and financial responsibilities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This person will be charged with responding to hotline inquiries related to New Mexico’s inspection of public records act and open meeting laws along with posting regularly on social media, providing seminars related to data access and acting as a spokesperson.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Communication: Must have strong oral and written communication skills and fundraising experience. that all of FOG’s funds, physical assets and other property are appropriately administered, maintained and safeguarded.
Advocacy: Regularly engages with local and state government officials and manages, oversees, and advocates for open government legislation. Familiarity with access to public records and related legislation is highly desirable.
