Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Lead the continuing evolution of Quivira’s vision
• Conduct the strategic planning required to guide the organization
• Build bridges among diverse constituencies
• Develop and implement a comprehensive, annual fundraising strategy
• Create annual operational plans in alignment with strategic planning
• Lead visioning and planning for the annual Quivira Conference
• Collaborate with Quivira board and staff to develop new mission-based projects
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The executive director also provides oversight to ensure successful implementation and completion of awarded projects, works with staff to oversee all personnel matters and day-to-day operations of the organization, and consults with Quivira’s lawyer, insurance agent, and auditor as the need arises.
