Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Lead the continuing evolution of Quivira’s vision and the strategic planning required to guide the organization
• Build bridges and consensus among diverse constituencies
• Create annual operational plans and comprehensive fundraising strategy
• Lead visioning and planning for the annual Quivira Conference
• Collaborate with Quivira staff to develop new mission-related projects
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The executive director also provides oversight to ensure successful implementation and completion of awarded projects, works with an associate director to oversee all personnel matters and day-to-day operations of the organization, and consults with Quivira’s lawyer, insurance agent, and auditor as the need arises.
