Executive Assistant

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

1.) Day-to-day assistance to the Chief Executive Officer, including
2.) A focus on governance (board of directors and committee facilitation)
3.) Frants writing and management
4.) Supervision of reception/office management staff

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Successful candidate will work well with minimal supervision, be proactive in identifying and executing duties as needed, have very strong attention to detail, bring a positive attitude to the office, work well with people and be comfortable with a high level of multi-tasking. The Executive Assistant must be able to change quickly between job tasks such as managing the executive’s schedule, preparing reports, tracking grant cycles and extensive filing.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Successful applicants will have very strong computer and proof-reading skills, a professional manner and be able to demonstrate skills necessary for the job. Former experience as an executive assistant is a plus. Candidates must be able to submit writing samples, if asked.
Full-time (40 hrs. per week).
Expected hiring wage is $14 per hour, DOE. Includes substantial paid time off; partial health, dental and vision; 3% Simple IRA match; and life insurance.
