Evening Supervisor

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Assists in creating and maintaining an organized, emotionally and physically safe atmosphere while watching over residents in all 4 shelter programs.
Completing intake assessments with new residents.
Supervision of 3 staff members.
Updating databases, maintaining accurate shift logs and properly documenting incidents that occur.
Developing a solid, harm-reduction model-based relationship with residents within the programs.
Assist with coordination of Volunteer duties and activities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Assist in occasional transportation needs of the residents.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Min. HS Diploma or equiv. work experience w/ persons who are homeless and/or low-income.Bachelors degree in Soc.Svcs. preferred. Exp. with homeless/disenfranchised populations a must.
Strong verbal comm. skills needed. Bi-lingual a plus. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
Communicate orally and in writing.
Valid NM driver's license & reliable transportation.
Min. 3 years clean driving record.
Current CPR/1st Aid Cert.
