Engaging Latinas Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

-Take leadership role in strategic planning, evaluation and implementation of Enlace Comunitario's Engaging Latinas Promotoras project
-Coordinate EC's Promotoras Leadership Project to ensure that promotoras are educating the community about domestic violence, gender equality and mobilizing them to work to end domestic violence
-Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule Promotoras for program outreach activities
-Provides group and one-on-one technical assistance and mentoring to the promotoras

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

-Co-facilitate violence prevention classes
-Facilitate groups with promotoras to produce social norms and anti-abuse messages in the form of radio and TV PSAs, brochures, posters, and other materials to promote and raise awareness about teen dating and adult domestic violence
-Outreach and recruit participants for EC prevention classes

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required: Bachelor's Degree and 3 years work experience, one of which is directly related or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Must have a flexible schedule. EOE
