Driver with CDL Endorsement

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

(Saturday and Sunday) driver to transport residents from Heading Home's Albuquerque Opportunity Center (AOC) campus to St. Martin's Hospitality Center at 6am AND then from St. Martin's to AOC at 6pm. 3 hour each day has been allotted (1 1/2 hour each shift).

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Daily visual inspection of the bus inside and out before each transport
• Keeping the bus clean
• Gassing up the bus when necessary
• Maintaining a safe environment on the bus for residents during transports

Other Information/Requirements: 

As AOC is an emergency shelter for men experiencing homelessness some experience with marginalized populations is very helpful. Bi-lingual Spanish/English is also helpful and a safe driving record is a must. CDL with school bus endorsement is required. Reliability is key and the ability to cover transports during the week (same times) is very desirable in case of emergency.
