Donor Relations & Resource Development Officer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under general supervision of the Marketing Director, coordinates, plans and implements fund-raising activities for the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center to secure financial support from individuals, corporations and foundations, and for advancing the relations of the department with community organizations and agencies. Manages membership services.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Builds & maintains a sustainable financial giving model for IPCC
• Develops and maintains a successful corporate, foundation, and individual solicitation program, including the developing of a strategic development plan, identifying priorities and prospects and building resources and connections to implement the plan.
• Oversees campaign activities such as fundraising events
• Ensure quality and timely submissions on all grant applications, reports and data

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, related field, or equivalency
• Three years of fund-raising experience which includes direct solicitation of contributions, volunteer leadership support, written and verbal presentations, and strategy and market development are required.
• Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.
