Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The NM Environmental Law Center, (NMELC) a non-profit law office, seeks a Director of Philanthropy. We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can lead the development and implementation process of moving individuals and foundations from prospect research to closure and maintaining long-term relationships.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This individual develops annual and long range strategic fundraising plans to build a strong and diversified financial base, which includes: individuals, foundations, business sponsorships, board support, planned giving programs and special events.
The Director of Philanthropy partners with staff in developing the annual budget and raising the annual revenue.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The candidate must have 5 or more years of experience in development with a proven track record of success, excellent leadership abilities, as well as analytical and communication skills.
