Director of Development

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director of Development is responsible for leading CGC’s advancement program as adopted by the Board of Directors, meeting ambitious fundraising goals via individual donor work, corporate relations, 2 annual events and grant writing to private foundations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Marketing in conjunction with an active, experienced and connected marketing committee, and leading the Community Alliance committee to assist in various fundraising efforts.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Three to five years professional fundraising experience
• Adherence to highest ethical practices in fundraising & money management
• Demonstrated experience in implementing a successful large-scale campaign and in direct asks resulting in major gifts and multi-year pledges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as a leader and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Very computer literate (Word, Publisher, Excel)
