Director of Development

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Leading an experienced development team, and raising about $300,000 annually from private donors, companies and organizations. Responsible for a major annual event –works with E.D., Development Staff and Volunteers to obtain sponsorships, auction donations, volunteer teams, and ticket sales necessary to reach budgeted goals.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Designs, implements and manages all fundraising activities including annual giving, endowment and capital campaigns, planned giving and special projects.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• 5 + years professional fundraising experience
• Demonstrated success with large-scale capital campaigns
• Demonstrated success building a multi-year pledge system
• Knowledge of community resources and contacts
• Strategic thinker
