Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Sol Housing is seeking a Digital Media Intern responsible for assisting with digital marketing (social media, blogs, newsletters), website, and community relations efforts for Sol Housing and its properties. This is a part-time, 10-12 hours per week, temporary position with an anticipated start date of July 2024 with possible renewal in January 2025.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Develop content for website blog and social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
• Maintain websites including updates, redesigns, keyword analysis, SEO optimization, and accessibility.
• Monitor incoming communications on social media and review sites (i.e., Google).
• Assist property managers with access to social media sites.
• Take photos/videos during Sol Housing events.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• English/Spanish or American Sign Language (ASL) Bilingual preferred.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools including graphic design (Canva, Photoshop etc.), website, and social media.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
