Main Areas of Responsibility:
Implementation of annual fund plans, develop fundraising solicitations, special events, & alumni relations. Develop & implement communications plan for annual fund & special events (website, letters, emails, & social media); Maintain & monitor donor appreciation initiatives; Conduct special events, solicit sponsors, manage raffles/auctions, & in kind donations; Create alumni relations plan; Build & maintain working relationships with trustees, donors, alumni, faculty, & staff.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Bachelor’s degree required. Candidate must possess excellent writing, marketing, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to take initiative on tasks. Excellent knowledge in MS Word, Excel and similar database programs is required. The majority of the work is performed in an office setting. Irregular work hours may be required during special events.
