Community Engagement Coordinator

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Position will manage development and implementation of NM Chapter fundraising events through planning, logistics, volunteer recruitment and engagement and corporate development. Responsible for achieving current revenue and expense targets for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Albuquerque and Santa Fe with direct accountability for goals set forth.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Create new and maintain existing relationships with key corporate sponsors. Manage the event websites. Develop community contacts to recruit high level volunteer leadership.Develop and follow a comprehensive development plan for Walk to End Alzheimer’s that includes budgets, timelines, team recruitment and retention strategies, volunteer committee development and logistics.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or 3-5 years’ experience in related field. Experience in event planning, fundraising, volunteer recruitment and marketing desired.
