Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Managing a schedule of written and social media communications for both internal and external purposes
• Content creation for print and all social media platforms (design and production)
• Branding control for the organization (consistent, compelling and accurate messaging and style)
• Effective representation of the organization’s vision, mission, staff and the people served
• Media relations
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The successful candidate will have demonstrable expertise representing to the public a company, and/or public figure, through routine messaging and in prompt and effective crisis response; will be able to craft press releases, newsletters, e-notices and the like; will have a critical eye for detail; will have very strong verbal and writing skills; and will be able to work independently. Experience with WordPress is a plus.
