Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The clinician is responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of a specified program including but not limited to effective administration of psychosocial evaluations/assessments, individual and group counseling, and/or psychotherapy, home visits, field visits and crisis intervention in a high-intensity clinical environment.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Oversees establishment/maintenance of case files, referrals, other documents for treatment of clients ensuring compliance with agency requirements. Conduct intakes/assessments, oversee treatment/service plan development/progress for each client, conduct trauma informed groups and/or individual therapy, completion of discharge and clinical summaries. Provides individual/group counseling, and/or psychotherapy to clients/families. Produces treatment plans.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master’s Degree, Independent Licensure in NM (LPCC, LCSW/LISW); minimum 2 years direct counseling/assessment experience (therapeutic substance abuse, mental health setting, and/or two years’ experience in a residential setting). Working knowledge of gender specific trauma treatment and trauma informed care, harm reduction, and strengths based substance abuse and mental health recovery.
