Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The CDO is the lead strategist for fund development, helping the CEO and management team create annual plans to increase voluntary revenue which informs and supports the agency’s plans for sustainability and growth. The CDO coordinates efforts for the fund development team, and serves as primary staff support (in fundraising matters) for the CEO and the Board. The CDO functions as the agency’s principal major gift fundraiser.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Supervising fund development staff, donor stewardship, information systems (gift entry; database management; report generation), and prospect research.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA required, MA preferred
5 years donor relations experience, with a proven track record of donor acquisitions fund raising goal achievement required
Must pass federal background check
