Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Business Manager performs bookkeeping, payroll, financial and personnel duties with the goal of maintaining
a professional business documentation program that cohesively integrates Quivira’s diverse activities.

This is a 24 hour/week position, ideally consisting of three 8-hour days, but schedule is negotiable.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The Business Manager has knowledge of:
• QuickBooks, including payroll processing
• Database, spreadsheet, and word processing software programs
• Nonprofit accounting practices
• Database management
• Compliance with federal, state and local regulations governing a small nonprofit organization
• Budgeting and invoicing for government grants
•Insurance procedures
• Inventory procedures
• Experience with the Internet.
