Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The JCC in Albuquerque, NM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Aquatics Director. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, management, staffing and evaluation of all aquatic programs. Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Assure all policies & procedures are followed: recruit/train/schedule staff. Ensure all staff have required certifications. Maintain operations of pump rooms and pool chemicals. Manage Staff schedules.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Relevant Bachelor’s Degree. 4+ years’ experience in aquatics. Supervisory skills & experience.
Lifeguard Certified.
Pool Operator Certified or willing to obtain certification.
Knowledge/experience with pump room operations strongly desired.
Additional Safety, knowledge and experience working with youth and youth Aquatic camps. OSHA 10 Certified preferred.
