Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

NewLife Homes is currently recruiting a VISTA member to help bring us to the next level of capacity by creating a volunteer base for our organization, assist with grant writing to help fund programs for our residents, and to create new fundraising opportunities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This is a one-year commitment from February 2016 through February 2017.
A desirable candidate is self motivated, excellent communicator and listener, highly organized and resourceful. They are committed to immersing themselves in their year of service to empower the communities in which they serve. They are an excellent team player and excited by the opportunity for personal growth that comes with the unique opportunity to work with NewLife Homes.

Other Information/Requirements: 

VISTA positions are open to all US citizens, nationals, and lawful permanent resident aliens age 18 or older. VISTA members receive a modest living allowance of approximately $900 per month as well as health coverage and childcare if needed.
