Albuquerque Urban Conservation Program Director

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Director will build a new conservation program with a focus on water security for the Albuquerque metropolitan area. Building on existing, and creating new partnerships in the region and serving as the principle liaison with the community, government agencies, other conservation organizations, foundations and universities, and will lead in designing, funding and implementing conservation projects.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

S/he will implement strategies to build broader support for conservation in Albuquerque, with a strong emphasis on underserved members of the community.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA/BS degree and 5 years’ experience in developing and sustaining a program in urban planning, water management, natural sciences, environmental policy or related field or equivalent is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
