Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Advocacy Coordinator will attend meetings related to early childhood education and homelessness, lead a cohort of parent advocates, monitor legislation, and develop advocacy strategies for the city, county, state, and national levels.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Assist Executive Director and Advocacy Committee to develop and execute advocacy strategies
Track, monitor and analyze city, county, state and national legislation
Develop briefing materials and reports including legislative reports, handouts and talking points for internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors, community partners and legislators
Lead a cohort of parent advocates by developing and executing a program action plan
