Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Administrative Assistant provides support to senior staff members and Board President and Vice President as needed. This position is also responsible for answering phones, providing customer service, scheduling field trips, selling birthday parties and memberships, and data entry.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Data entry; Generates letters and reports using database; Engages with children and adults in a welcoming, courteous, and professional manner; Keeps up to date on Museum policies, programs, and special events; Attends staff meetings and training; Assists with special events and outreach, as needed; Files and maintains SFCM’s records in accordance with filing and retention policy; Orders office supplies, and other office tasks as assigned.
