Nat Sloane is an experienced funder. He was the co-founder of Impetus Trust, the first venture philanthropy trust fund in the UK, and is a trustee for Impetus-PEF created from the recent merger of Impetus Trust with the Private Equity Fund. Nat also chairs Social and Sustainable Capital, one of the UK’s largest social investment funds. He is a founding trustee and chair of the endowment fund for the Education Endowment Foundation which is aimed at raising academic attainment for free school meal children in England. He was recognised with a CBE in the 2015 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his service to Venture Philanthropy and Social Investment.
