Description

Social profit employees are often portrayed as martyrs at best and suckers at the worst. How can we thrive in jobs that we love, but that may not love us back? This program will offer practical suggestions for identifying and addressing personal burnout, as well as shifting the culture that creates burnout-prone employees.

Speaker

Jade Richardson Bock is the Community Services Manager for New Mexico Donor Services. As a bereavement facilitator with more than 15 years experience serving grieving children and their families, as well as training the professionals who interact with them, Ms. Bock has experienced many facets of burnout. She took her first course in "Healing Vicarious Trauma" in 2008 and has been ramping up her self-care game ever since.
