Description
An external audit demonstrates accountability to your donors, funders and the community. It can help your organization improve financial procedures and internal controls. Get the most benefit from the experience by being prepared.
This session will give you the tools you need to prepare for your audit. You will also learn the process for selecting an auditor that fits with your organization’s goals and objectives. At this end of this session, you will understand your role and your auditor's role.

Corrine Zajac-Clarkson, CPA – Assurance Manager, has practiced public accounting since 2003. She serves large and complex nonprofit organizations and foundations with substantial endowment and investment funds. Corrine is a member of the Moss Adams, LLP Government, and Not-for-Profit & Regulated Entities Group. Corrine is a member of the AICPA and the NM Society of CPA’s and is an active member on the Board of Directors for Albuquerque Speech Language and Hearing Center.
