Description

There are four distinct steps to conflict resolution.  When you know and follow each step, you are most likely to arrive at a lasting and win-win resolution.  Each step requires awareness and practice.  In this interactive workshop, you’ll be introduced to the four steps and have the opportunity to begin practicing them.

Presenter

Anne Lightsey began training in 1984 when she lived overseas, specializing in preparing exchange students for the changes they would encounter abroad.  Today, she focuses on Conflict Management, Communication Skills, Ethics, Effective Supervisory Skills and Team Building, to name a few.

She is on the faculty at the University of New Mexico where she teaches Mediation and leads a variety of classes for professionals at UNM’s Anderson School of Management.  She is also an Ombuds Facilitator with UNM's Staff Ombuds Services team.   She has served as Executive Director of a YMCA and Training Manager at Sprint PCS, and has been a practicing mediator since 1991.
