Description

This session will explore the overwhelming prevalence of social media and what that means to the nonprofit community. We will look at the different platforms where you must have a presence and also platforms specific to nonprofit organizations. You will be introduced to tools that will help you get your message out to your stakeholders, supporters and the general public.  At the end of the training you will know how to be more strategic with your social media and how to manage your time.

Barbara C. Lemaire, PhD has more than twenty years experience in marketing, public relations, publishing, strategic planning, sales, organizational management, project management and business coaching. She is Assistant Chairperson of Professional Coaching & Human Development Department at the International University of Professional Studies. She co-founded Strategic Networking a business networking forum, and served on number of nonprofit boards. Barbara edited and published the 2008 Comprehensive Non Profit Directory of Albuquerque.
