Presenter
Susan Simons has worked with and for nonprofits for over 25 years in fundraising, grant writing and event planning. She has helped write bylaws and has filed requests for nonprofit status with the IRS. She has worked in small organization as the sole employee or as the only person in the development office. She now has her own consulting business, Simons Consulting Services.
She volunteers on the New Mexico Association of Fundraising Professionals Board, St. Martin’s Hospitality Center and on the board of two animal protection organizations in her home town of Edgewood, New Mexico.
Susan has a Masters in Nonprofit Management and has been a Certified Fundraising Executive for 20 years. She and her husband served with the Peace Corps in Liberia, West Africa.
