Expand your volunteer base by reaching people on social media.  It is an extremely useful tool for connecting people to their interests.

Join us to hear how local nonprofits have used social media to build and energize their volunteer program.

Available through live streaming--participate from your computer or mobile device.  Engage during the training by emailing comments and questions.

Presenters

Brian Brown, Development Officer for Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico. Brian specializes in donor relations from all aspects.  This includes financial contributions to cultivating new volunteers.

Melissa Gomez, Marketing & Special Events Manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Mexico.  Melissa manages growth of fundraising through internal and external events.  She plans and implements marketing and community relations strategies including direct marketing, web marketing, social media and public relations.

Sandy Wylie, Event Coordinator, Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Sandy developed the "Above and Beyond Volunteer Program" to recruit, train, coordinate and retain the 100+ volunteers who help make Balloon Fiesta possible.

Tammy Luksich, Account Executive with The Garrity Group public relations.  Tammy has helped organizations, like the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, build digital communication programs.  She specializes in the practical implementation of digital technology to drive business acquisition and revenue through the effective use of social media, blogging, email marketing, and content development.
