You will create a highly efficient and inspirational fundraising message.  You will have an opportunity to refine your message and delivery to communicate your enthusiasm, resulting in an unforgettable and motivating message.

The training will cover the A to Z of fundraising ... from tips on Building Relationships with donors to Making the Ask.  You will learn how to engage donors as partners.

Be prepared to work: bring your mission statement and your elevator speech.  You will reshape your core message so that it becomes unforgettable.  Be prepared for a highly interactive session as you put concepts of emotional persuasion and verbal imagery into practice.

Matt Rixx is America's leading authority on the science of subliminal influence and the psychology of humor combined with the art of persuasive presentation techniques.  He is an internationally acclaimed keynote speaker, executive-level leadership consultant, and a widely respected expert and trainer in the use of subliminal triggers of influence and adaptive "Story-Selling" methods.  As Matt reminds his clients, "Leadership is not about getting people to take an action – it's about getting people to believe the action you want them to take is their own idea."

Ted Jurney was Manager of Workplace Campaigns at United Way of Central New Mexico until 2013.  He was part of the team raising United Way's $20+ million annual campaigns.  Ted started in the world of nonprofit development as a Loaned Executive for United Way of Central New Mexico in 2001. He was hired to join the staff of Valley of the Sun United Way in Phoenix, Arizona before being hired full time in New Mexico in January of 2003.
