With tight budgets getting tighter, nonprofits need to make every dollar count.  This training shares ways to make existing capital go further by engaging the financial world.  With interactive exercises, you will learn to better manage existing resources, foster new opportunities and improve your organization’s cash position by better use of the balance sheet and cash flow.  Lessons learned from bankers provide "real stories" to better apply for financing, get sponsorships, recruit board members, and other useful tips to get more value out of such entities.

Presenter
Drew Tulchin is a Managing Partner with Social Enterprise Associates with more than 15 years experience in this field.  He has trained and presented throughout New Mexico, the United States and in Indian Country.  Consulting has taken him to 40 countries across five continents, working literally from A (Afghanistan) to Z (Zambia).

Drew has trained and published extensively on raising capital, social enterprise, effective organizations, and social investing.  His efforts led clients to raise more than $100 million.  Drew's previous positions including leading a social service NGO for immigrants, Program Office of Grameen Foundation for microfinance in Bangladesh, working as a lender, and AmeriCorps Team Leader.  He holds an MBA from University of Washington.  His B.A. cum laude is from Washington University.
