Presenters
Elizabeth Beachy
is co-founder of Upleaf, and brings to the firm 15 years working with the nonprofit sector. She holds a Master of Health Sciences degree with a specialization in health communications from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Elizabeth worked for 7 years with Population Services International, the world’s largest nonprofit social marketing organization, both in Washington D.C. and overseas. She has also served as a development and/or communication consultant for several international organizations including Family Health International, the International Planned Parenthood Federation, and the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, among others.

Ms. Beachy specializes in strategic communication (reaching target populations with compelling messages) and is an accomplished fundraiser, having helped raise a total of over $135 million for the various organizations she has worked with.

Osvaldo Gómez holds an MBA in Strategic Business Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in the Dominican Republic. In addition to his more than 10 years of experience as marketing manager for major international brands, Mr. Gómez is a web developer with experience developing content management systems (Drupal, WordPress) and constituent relationship management systems (Salesforce, CiviCRM).
