Have a desire to display or appreciate art expressions, whether it be through visual display, performance or auditory means? Then save the date for #ArtsNotViolence!

Through this community- and family-friendly festival event, #ArtsNotViolence invites New Mexican communities to voice and showcase their talents as a means of establishing a safe environment where they will be able to thrive for years to come. Individuals, teams and various organizations will have the opportunity to enjoy each others’ dance routines, photography, paintings, rap pieces, jewelry, etc. All art is welcome — any genre, age and skill!

We are taking all volunteers for the event, which is scheduled to take place on June 2nd, 2018 at the Albuquerque Civic Plaza from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Any time is appreciated! Volunteers will be able to participate in equipment assembly and take down, supervising gaming areas to ensure safety, general event security, and organizing tabling and booths.
