Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Volunteer tax preparers are needed across the state to prepare tax returns for low income & elderly New Mexicans. You will receive all training required. Go to www.cnm.edu/depts/taxhelp/volunteer for additional information.

Low income and elderly New Mexicans will be impacted through this project.

Last year, 260 volunteers returned over $20 million to the community and saved New Mexico taxpayers $4.7 million in preparation fees at twenty six sites throughout the state.
