Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:

Are you looking for a fun, enriching volunteer opportunity working with children? Become a volunteer at the Gutiérrez-Hubbell House!

The Gutiérrez-Hubbell House and property is a historic adobe home, orchard, and working farm in the South Valley dating to the 1800s.

e are seeking parents, students, retired people, or anyone available during the day during the week to lead groups of students (schools during the school year and camps in the summer).

People who speak Spanish, know about gardening or farming, have a connection to the South Valley, or enjoy arts and crafts are especially welcome!

We ask volunteers to commit to leading lessons for 2 field trips for 2 seasons a year (summer, fall, spring). We offer volunteer training and orientation.
