Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse (www.prehorse.org) has a large volume of videos of horses in our registry, shows, fiestas in Spain and horse training and maintenance videos. They are in various formats mostly 8-track, CD and stick drives. We need someone to view, categorize and label them.

The ultimate goal is to have these inventoried and posted to the web (Youtube) to be public resources. The 8 tracks need to be burned to CD (we have the equipment in house) and all need to be edited and converted to a Youtube format so that we can easily share.

Any one who wants to do research on PRE Horse bloodlines for historic or breeding purposes. Anyone who is interested in the PRE breed history. All equestrians.

Individual must be comfortable working by themselves once oriented. You must have organizational abilities and be able to work with computer and video equipment.
