Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Reading Works changes the world one reader at a time. We provide free literacy instruction to adults in core areas: reading & writing; GED Preparation; English as a Second Language; Math; and, Computer Skills. We need committed and talented individuals to help us build our infrastructure so we can continue to provide qualify free literacy tutoring to adults. Please join us by serving on a Task Force. Each Task Force is chaired by a member of the Board of Directors. The time commitment varies throughout the year. This is a great way to get involved in adult literacy. The Task Forces are:

Fundraising & Income Diversification
Grants
Marketing & Public Relations
Programming
Volunteer Recruitment & Support.
