Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Open Space Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit "friends" group supporting the Albuquerque Open Space Division. OSA currently has over 100 dues-paying members, and help is needed with the online database system used to manage membership. Help is also needed with organizing membership events in collaboration with the Open Space Division; with recruiting and retaining members through tabling at events; and with Board capacity development. Finally, assistance with developing innovative fund-raising ideas is always welcome! For additional information, please visit openspacealliance.org.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Nearly every citizen in the city enjoys Albuquerque's open spaces, through recreation, family gatherings or beautiful vistas. The OSA strives to provide advocacy and funding to permit the Albuquerque Open Space Division to better maintain and improve its properties and to deliver quality programs to enhance public experiences in open space.
