Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Reading Works needs a Board Member to serve as Treasurer. Our budget is less than $200,000. We use an outside bookkeeper. As Treasurer, you will monitor the books, ensure we are in compliance, and assist the Board with understanding financial statements. A Board Treasurer needs to have finance, accounting experience, and we are particularly looking for someone with a background in auditing and/or tax preparation.
