Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Endorphin Power Company is seeking a CPA to serve as treasurer on our board

The EPC Treasurer provides direction and oversight to the accounting/finance function of the organization. Responsibilities include: monthly review of the financial statements, attending the monthly financial meeting, attending the board meetings (6- 2 hour evening meetings annually), helping with the annual budget, general involvement in all of EPC’s financial affairs and fundraising events.

Financial statements are prepared monthly by EPC administrative and bookkeeping staff. The tax return is prepared annually by a CPA firm. EPC uses QuickBooks on line version.

Estimated average monthly time commitment is 5 hours.
