Once a week. Afternoons: Wednesday through Sunday.
Number of Volunteers Needed:

Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Contribute to the operation of the Toy Train Depot Museum as tour guides, layout and train upkeep, work in the gift shop, maintenance on model trains and on 1/5 scale park trains/track.
Contribute on the Board of Directors, with more specialized duties of planning, direction, and fundraising.

The Toy Train Depot operates via the sale of museum admission, park train rides, gift shop sales, and donations. The local and tourist community benefit greatly from this family experience, operated by local volunteers.

Our staff provides training in your areas of mutual interest. Some perks are offered, such a discounts from the gift shop, timing of the volunteer periods, and we will definitely consider your ideas for improvement.

Additional Requirements: 

Volunteers need their own transportation and must be punctual for their volunteer position and dressed neatly. Required to answer the phone, care take the museum. Working trains need upkeep and repair.
