Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Arsenal Drum and Bugle Corps is a youth high adventure performing arts program that will be taking 50 students on tour to perform in competitions hosting by Drum Corps International this month. We are looking for four or five individuals to join us on tour to help in roles such as cooking food for the students, driving our equipment trucks, and running our merchandise booth.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Arsenal has a diverse member population of 49 students, all under the age of 21, who come from throughout the Southwest and from as far away as Ohio. By assisting Arsenal on tour, you help us to provide the best possible experience for these students, from ensuring that their instruments arrive on time to making sure they get enough calories to keep up with the intense performance schedule.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Volunteers will be provided with meals, housing, and transportation while on tour with the corps in addition to free Arsenal merchandise and tickets to the Southwestern Championship in San Antonio, Texas. Volunteers who use their own vehicles will be reimbursed for travel expenses.

Additional Requirements: 

All volunteers must be able to pass a background check. Volunteers who will be driving must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
